Navigating

EOS Hub has two ways to move around: the side menu on the left and the top bar above every page. The top bar always shows where you are, and on a team's pages it is also the quickest way to another team or another page.

The Top Bar

On a team's pages the top bar reads:

Organization › Team ▾ › Page ▾

For example Acme Corp › Leadership Team ▾ › Rocks ▾. The organization is the one you are working in; the team and the page are menus.

The Team Menu

Click the team name to open a list of the teams you can see in this organization. The current team has a check mark. Picking another team opens the same page of that team: from the Rocks of the Leadership Team you go straight to the Rocks of the Sales Team, from the Scorecard to the other team's Scorecard.

From a deeper page, such as one meeting, you land on the other team's section page -- its list of meetings.

The Page Menu

Click the page name to open the team's pages, in the same order and with the same icons as in the side menu:

Dashboard, Meetings, Scorecard, Rocks, Issues, To-Dos, V/TO, Accountability Chart, People Analyzer, Documents.

The current page has a check mark.

Pages Outside a Team

Pages that do not belong to a team show just their name after the organization: Dashboard (the overview of all your teams), Teams, Organization settings, Settings, Platform, About and Report a bug. A platform operator who belongs to no organization sees only the page name.

To switch to another organization, use the organization switcher at the top of the side menu -- see Organizations & Teams.

The Side Menu

The side menu lists the teams of the current organization, each with its pages. The team of the page you are on is expanded, also after you move to another team through the top bar or a link.

On Phones

  • The organization name is hidden to save space; the top bar shows Team ▾ › Page ▾ on one line, shortened with "…" when the names are long.
  • The two menus let you move between teams and pages without opening the side menu. The side menu is still there behind the menu button on the left of the top bar.

The Running Meeting

While a meeting of one of your teams is running, its countdown sits on the right of the top bar on every page of the app. Click it to go back to the meeting -- handy when you looked something up in the Scorecard or the Rocks during the meeting. On phones the countdown shows only the remaining time, without the team name and the elapsed time.

What the countdown and its colors mean is described in L10 Meetings.
